About the Show: A Journey of Unity and Acrobatics
Imagine a stage where ancestral African wisdom captivates the audience. World of Words tells a beautiful story of two groups separated by a symbolic line. One group shares its knowledge through powerful storytelling, hypnotic songs, and ritual initiation, while the other listens and learns.
While spoken language begins as an obstacle, the universal forces of gesture, rhythm, and sound quickly overcome it. Led by three guiding figures—Trust, Respect, and Wisdom—the show features breathtaking acrobatic contact and moments of mutual support. As the dividing line fades, bodies merge to blend tradition with contemporary movement, culminating in a powerful choreography of unity and collective awakening. It's an incredible way to introduce children to world cultures, acrobatics, and the universal language of dance.
